I am so conflicted about this news. On one hand, it's great for the sport here in Oz. On the other hand, I now have to put up with League fans who think they've become overnight experts in American Football when their entire knowledge of the game comes from playing Madden.

I was at a Super Bowl party in Alexandria a few years ago and there were about 800 people packed into this small little pub watching the game. Nearly 99.9% of the time, I heard someone say 'go long' or 'go the hail mary' It became a day of spot the Madden player. It was so unbearable, I went back to hosting my own Super Bowl parties.
