That looks awesome! I will never, EVER EVER afford it though. I still voted 'Hell yeah!' though

+1 on all accounts. Contemplated "maybe if ___" - if I had the cash. But seriously, despite the fact I'll probably never own this dazzling version of our favourite hero, I couldn't resist an "OH YEAH!!!" vote.

Very nice review by the way Magnus, thank you for all the beautiful pics and your accurate verdict.

Magnus, how much did you pay for him and where did you get it from? Just wondering...

I agree with everything you've said Magnus. It's a truly enjoyable figure. I still haven't transformed him into truck mode yet because I'm having so much fun with all the attachments. He's one of those figures you can just spend hours with so for me - well worth the investment.
I'm undecided whether to display him in truck mode next to DMK-01 or in his full robot glory. Decisions, decisions! I kind of wish I could afford two!!

    Thanks, all!

Honestly, I cant help but think I didn't spend enough time on the verdict, beyond saying that the price is the make-or-break factor in deciding whether or not to buy. I forgot to add that if you want a huge, impressive Optimus and don't mind the relative lack of paint, the regular Jetwing or Hasbro Optimus & Jetfire combo should do.

I've also had trouble deciding which entry in the poll I've vote for - it's a brilliant figure, no doubt, but it's also very expensive, so I was torn between 'definite yes' and 'maybe if cheap'. I ended up going for "OH YEAH!!!" in the end.

    Glad you like yours!

One thing I would like to ask as a fellow owner: how well does yours 'grip' the Striker accessories (the mega-striker guns, the blades, hooks)? Mine holds those accessories pretty loosely.

I paid USD288.61 from Robot Kingdom. I think the price would be more palatable to Australian consumers if we still had (near) parity with the USD, since Jetwing retailed here for, what, $150? A little more than $200 plus postage would be reasonable in my opinion.

Thanks! I hope I wasn't gushing too much praise on the figure, since the only real negative I could come up with (besides the price) could easily be a manufacturing error on my particular figure.

Good idea: APS-01 has a very nice paint job, and you have the Striker weapons. If you really want the other big accessories, it might be worth trying to find Jetwing Optimus at a reasonable price.

Still combines perfectly well with RotF Jetfire:

Magnus, did that price include shipping?
