A little sore in the teeth, nose and sinus region today after me and my mate both got punched during a walk between pubs night. It was unprevoked and luckily witnesses came quickly plus the cops drove around the corner 15 seconds later and nabbed the guy.

The rage he had and the way he leapt towards us was just ballistic.

Yeah alright. First was my mate who was hit on the side of the head and knocked off balance as he began to look behind (we were already past the attacker). He has a smallish bump on side of his head today. Then me. I had fully turned around (and retreating) and was trying to keep distance but he very quickly ran/lept close enough to punch me front on in the face. I was quite bloodly with tomato sauce coming from my upper lip and nose.

I am glad i walked with my mate or he would have coped it all and got punched atleast 3-5 times without balance before help came. Luckily neither of us fell and hit the concrete.

Today I took my daughter to the art gallery. When we were at our local train station, there was some random guy shouting and swearing really loudly, including spitting on the platform. It was relentless and he kept on behaving in a really belligerent and menacing way. I wasn't prepared to take my chances with my daughter in tow, not to mention other families on the platform, so I told my daughter to stand behind me as we made our way to the nearest Emergency Help Point where I pressed the button and reported what was happening. Our train soon arrived and we hopped on, so I didn't see what happened to the menacing man afterwards. When we got the Central Station, we had to change to a bus service to. But the driver arroved at our stop, he only stayed for about 20 seconds and only opened the back door. We tried to squeeze through the people and kept on saying, "Excuse me," but then the driver closed the door and drove off before we could even get halfway there. When we arrived at the next stop, I complained to the driver who, instead of apologising, gave me excuses like how he'd opened both doors (although other passengers did remark that only the rear door had opened, and our stop there was so brief that I heard many other passengers ask if we'd even stopped there at all!). So we had to get off and catch another bus back. In all, our entire train-bus trip took two and a half hours. Then on the way home, the train that we caught was nearly packed. There was one spare row of seats, but a lady decided to put her feet up, so nobody could sit there. I was just about to say something when another couple who were getting off at the next stop kindly offered their seat to us. I saw other people coming up to look for a seat, and that same girl wouldn't take her feet off.
