About time they did away with the console locked purchases and moved toward an account based system.

Fired up the PS3 for the first time in a long time and had a play of GoW3. Forgot how epically awesome that game was. Tonight I'm going to dust-off the PS2 and play some RE4.

PS2 had some cracking games on there. I have mine all boxed up in the garage but will bust it out one day when I have a place big enough to build a man cave

The missus did get me the Sega Megadrive reissue console that is floating around now. Kinda disappointed. The games are great, and a lot harder than I remember, but the controllers are terrible. They are wireless (I would have preferred wired) so there is a very noticeable lag between button pressing and response in game which is a killer on old school games. Not to mention that the technology in the controller requires perfect line of sight to operate. That is impossible when my 2 year old is running around and constantly going between the controller and console.

It was great fun though playing games like original Sonic, Mortal Kombat and Golden Axe again.

And that's why I don't play Hardcore Mode.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

I finished Wolfenstein New Order and have gone back to South Park The Stick Of Truth. It's hilarious, I don't know why I let myself get distracted and left it for so long.

Capcom seem to like that now. I bought Final Fight off of the PSN and I have to be logged in for that as well. Bloody annoying, as I PAID for the damn game, but can'T play it if I'm too lazy to update my PS3, which I was for a long time up until yesterday.

    Bloody online business is crap.

For the Pokemon players, March is the Celebi distribution event.
This time you don't have to go to ebgames at 9am otherwise pray to Primus that they have some later, you just need to go to mystery gift at the start menu and download from the internet.
They really should always do it this way, puts a stop to all the scumbag scalpers and no one has to miss out. Yay!

Much better. Took me five stores to find a Mew last month. On the positive side getting the game out made me start playing Omega Ruby again after it got neglected for a while.
