Personally I can't imagine it being any less funny on repeat viewings. Not only was it funny, but it had a whole lot of heart. It's seriously amazing how they pulled off the fluctuations in tone so deftly.

I did note that the movie only had basically 2 big fight scenes/set pieces - they were just revisited and used in flashback several times.

Pretty impressed to learn it was a first-time director too - he has to be pretty happy with the results
