Yes i replaced but i think it was in the works before news of the new Hot rod arrived. Mp-09 is such a disappointment that i would rather go without a Rodimus Prime than have 09 (the trailer was great though!). I don't think even a reissue with fixes can save him.

Yeah same designer. I have my fingers crossed that Hot Rod isn't fragile. MP-9 is one of those figures I worry about breaking if the shelf were knocked and he fell over. I know I would probably have to be hit by an earth quake to have that happen, but Queensland has had some earth quakes recently including a nearby one.

Mine has issues. Oddly enough similar issues to what I experienced with MP-09.
all four wheels don't sit flush on the ground in car mode. The collar stops them. I haven't had a very good play yet to see if I'm just missing something in the transformation, but yeah.
Spoiler/wing not straight. When looking at the car from front/rear the wing is tilted to one side slightly. Not much but enough to annoy.
Otherwise another very impressive figure.
It even has the same smell as MP-09
