i also really want that EVA mode but being a completist i have to crossed out the Bapes due to unreasonable cost (in my point of view) but EVA is on the border of possible and impossible to obtain at its current price range...even $400 feels a little bit steep

Yep I'm a MP completionist but ruled out the might BAPE's too. yeah i also started with Cars only with Prowl and an overpriced Lambor (110 bucksI'm completes on the cars. I'd love to go completes on the whole line but that is rather pricey, maybe if I win Gold Lotto.) but got greedy admittedly and tried to take all being released starting with Ultra Magnus
...anyway i got excited with this news especiall with EVA Convoy just to realize its not actually reissue and PC has very limited stocks to boot...wish they could just produce more to lower the price

Why not sign up at TTM and use Tenso for instance?
I know a few guys that have purchased using this method
It'll also work out a bit cheaper than the $400 PC have advertised it at and you may also have a chance at getting one

If money is no object then collecting the whole line is easy. Sadly most of us aren't in that position and have to be selective in our purchases.
I'm not bothered by TT making special edition type figures harder to get like store exclusives. But if standard characters appearing in the actual cartoons start getting hard to attain, I'd call it a day.
Skywarp is an example. MP-11 Thundercracker and Ramjet are pushing it.
