At $160, I can't imagine there being a better price around when he finally gets released at retail.

They took it down at 2AM because (I'm guessing) their automatic inventory controls weren't working and they wanted to make sure they didn't oversell.
They haven't posted anything about it yet -but I suspect it will go back up again at some point today. Unfortunately that just means waiting.

$160 is a bit pricey when compared to Metroplex at $100/$120ish. Only TRU priced him at $200.

The market has changed. The leaked/rumoured pricing for Hasbro Fort Max in the US is $149 USD.

Times have changed -- Takara's Fort Max has an RRP of 25,000 JPY (~AU$307), and PC has him for AU$240, so AU$160 for the Hasbro version is well within acceptable limits (cheap even) when you factor in the Japanese price as a measure of the figure's worth.

I think I got my Metroplex back in the day for about $150, so the extra size/bulk of Fort Max and the lower AUD/USD exchange rate makes this a steal. Still happy with the Takara version as I end up redeeming $65 worth of points bringing him to $175.
