Just got an email from TFSource, their order of MP Ramjets were stuck in customs so there was a delay... However being stuck in customs turns out to be a blessing as Takara has made a decision to recall MP Ramjet... So TFSource is sending back the order and Takara will be fixing the issue... So I will be getting a QC issue free MP Ramjet

Mine has the newly found QC issue too, and yeah explains away the horrible clack it makes when you transform it there. Really the worst QC in recent memory, particularly since it's straight out of the box bad and not happening over time.

Yeah, given you can't just knock the pin out (drilling required to do so), I think I'll leave it. I mean, it's pretty minor and unnoticeable, particularly in robot mode, right?

Visually i never noticed it until it was pointed out to me. But in my review i mentioned the difficulty of transforming that bit and now i know why!

Apparently TFSource are claiming there's a recall going on... but people on TFW are skeptical that they're just fixing them themselves (ala "correctly" painting Exhaust)...

I haven't heard anything from TakaraTomy Mall ... but screw it, i'm gonna email them and try get mine fixed or replaced. For this price and being exclusive it really shouldn't have issues.

I think this is one major defect for a mp hope you get it fixed for free.

It's pretty minor compared to the shoulder issues. Also, it's correctly assembled, it's incorrectly designed/planned.

Yeah, just checked mine and i've got the same problem -- including that scary clack!

At least the shoulders are right on mine I suppose...
