It will be pretty epic if he ever does get an official release, hopefully he stands at the same height as Ultra Magnus.

Yep I've seen it on TFW, seems to be quite emphatic. All I can say is halleluja, the drought is broken. And with one of my most coveted characters no less. I never had the G1 toy so this will really fill a void if true.
