I did EVENTUALLY get the mask to come off, and once I did it swapped out easier. Also I found the storage for the mask is on the wing panel; Looks weird there, but for display purposes I think its ok just so u have somewhere to put it.

I agree with Gok; Best SS deluxe I have seen or messed with, hands down.
i do NOT Play with toys...

But I DO occasionally do scale model assisted simulations in physical fight dynamics.

So better than Jazz? Because I think Jazz is the most fun figure of the line and it looks great in both modes.
Honestly, I'm always going to buy this Bumblebee, but still interested in what you think.

Quick question for those who have both: is this one compatible with the Renderform Bump not-Bumper head? It looks like it might be a bit too small...

I like the look of this but I've got a 1-of-each-character collecting rule, and Bumper seems like a good fit for the mold/design.

Huh? Bump is a repaint of Armordillo... haven't tried it, but my guess is that the heads wouldn't be cross compatible. Definitely not compatible with G1 Bumper, Cliffjumper or Hubcap.

3rd Party alternate head and gun for the old Classics Bumblebee mold - turns it into a CHUG Bumper.

Can't help you there. Might be more appropriate to continue that discussion here, thanks.

Bonnet still bonnet and boot still boot, just houses an engine instead of luggage space.

That's probably why I addressed it more generally - looking for someone who can actually give an answer.

If you want to actually help, and also wrap this up right here, you must have the Classics Bumblebee mold. Would it be hypothetically possible to swap the heads between the two? Or, say, if the Classics head was a smidge narrower?
