I know we discussed this in another thread but once again for me the lack of triple changing is a disappointment.

With these two Cons I’ll wait and see if I really dig the onscreen characters before I lay my money down for non-3-mode representations of them

These simplified Power Series figures can barely handle being double changers. They would have a fart against a whirlwind's chance of handling a tertiary mode!

Given the demands of photorealistic triple changers, I don't think that we can see it done properly outside of a Masterpiece budget. Then watch everyone female-dog about the price.

Yes yes, you went into a lot of detail in the other thread about the logistics and price of making these figures triple changers. Good points but it comes down to..

...I wouldn’t buy a G1-based representation of Blitzwing that only had one alt-mode. Nor Springer or Octane etc. Hence I won’t be buying toys that only have one alt-mode that are based on 2-alt-mode characters, unless as previously stated A: I really dig the characters after seeing them on the big screen and no triple-changing toy eventually eventuates

Why buy a toy where I don’t even know if I enjoy the character yet if it can’t even do the transformations it does on the trailers? That’s just ‘I need a toy of every character ever’ thinking. I made that mistake with the ROTF twins and won’t do so again.

That's fair enough. For the record, all the Power Series toys that I've gotten so far have been freebies from Hasbro. I'm not personally paying for this cra... stuff.
