If they are selling at full price, how will they make any money? Other than being able accrue VIP points and take away that day I can't see any real benefit. The Big 3 retailers normally have 20% off scattered between them every few weeks.

Between the full price exclusives, the hard to find sets and the ones that the big department stores only have online, plus the pick a brick, stationary and accessories, not to mention impulse buys, they do alright.

The Local vic one opens on Thursday... peeked in the door and the Pick-a-brick wall was up and filled....
So cant wait to walk in and get my Lego T-Rex!

The second Sydney store opened today, so now there are two shops within 10km of each other, one in Bondi Junction and now the second in the Broadway Centre.
Good sized store, easy to maneuver around, but not the second storey that the Bondi Store has and not as many statues either.
