Re-enacting this scene from the Beast Wars cartoon made me realise and appreciate just how well balanced Kingdom Rattrap is. No other Rattrap can lean back like this without falling over!

I had a look at someone else's KD Rattrap today and unfortunately that toy had the same issue with the robot shoulders being prone to dislocation. Adding in little tabs to secure them into place would've been super easy, barely an inconvenience; and I don't think it would've exceeded the budget either.

He looks like a fun little toy. The proportions are nice and cartoony, in line with the kind of goofy look of some of the BW animation models. I'll probably stick to my deluxe because I prefer the size, but I hope others enjoy him. We're quite lucky to have two CHUG Rattrap toys at this point. I'm sure the same will go for Waspinator when he is eventually revealed/released.

I love how you say "someone else" as though there could be many people living close to you that imported Kingdom Rattrap this early.
Look to be honest the shoulder issue really isn't that bad. I do agree tabs would have helped but it doesn't kill the figure for me by any stretch. I think Rattrap is the shining star of the first core class wave and one of the better legend/small scale figures I've owned. Love his bot mode proportions and range of articulation. The rat mode does the job for me and hides the bot kibble better than the deluxe does (seriously those legs are hard to see past).
I liked this figure way more than I expected to and would happily recommend it.

Yeah having handled "someone else"'s Rattrap last night... I'm not sold.

The ambition is there, but I feel execution is lacking - which is understandable at this pricepoint.

That said, the robot mode displays amazingly well.
