Is the foot tabbing on alt mode fixed here?

It's not "fixed" because it wasn't broken. Although this is a common misconception.
All you have to do is give the foot a good push (where it connects to the roof) until you hear a "click" sound and it stays secure.

I bought this on sight but I've yet to actually open it. I'm assuming I'll get around to it in *counts on fingers* 2026?

Dead End in 2024's special capsule line (Star Seekers or whatever). Wildrider in whatever 2025's line is. Then MotorMaster in 2026?
