This is just the teaser so we should get something beefier in the full trailer sometime in the next month or two but they can't take longer than that or the premiere would be too soon after! Marketing wise this movie is releasing promotional material a bit late when compared to the first movie.Originally Posted by TF76

I'm thinking that this trailer didn't even include stuff that we will see in the final movie.
Some of the computer generated effects look fairly under-done, something that you cannot accuse the first movie of doing.
Since the last film was still rendering only a few weeks before release, I expect something similar second time around.

It's a lot more substantial than the teaser for the first movie where all we saw was a martian probe and big dark shadows!

I thought the CGI was a bit underdone too. Take a look at the jets on the aircraft carrier. Looks like I coloured them in and I can't stay in the friggin' lines!!! aaarrrghhhh...lol!
