    There seriously cannot be 10,000 pages committed to crazy sectarian/cults, creation of weapons and such and people doing things to other people and animals that probably should not be done.

    if the 2500 contained multiple harmless sites, then how many harmless sites will be restricted when the list is blown out to 10,000?

    I nominate quote of the day, found at news.com regarding the Australian Government internet filter;

    " Wow.... who shook up a big can of stupid and spilled it all over Australia?

    The list has already been out. I saw it yesterday.

    EDIT: Actually, the list I saw is dated August 6 2008, but the two most recent entries are dated march 18th.

    The one that was leaked was the August 2008 version of the blacklist.

    The one wikileaks will be posting tonight will be the March 18, 2009 version of the blacklist.

    What's most ridiculous and ironic about this is that now anyone who wants easy access to teen porn, incest and dentist sites can use this convenient list - which they wouldn't have had before the government compiled it.

    A bit of advice to everyone here: do NOT publish/post any links that contains real or fake ACMA blacklists.

    Acording to Conroy and the government, publishing/posting links to the ACMA blacklist (fake or otherwise) is considered distribution of child pornography, so publishing/posting links to the blacklist is illegal and is punishable by fines and/or jail time.

    ACMA March 18 blacklist is now leaked. A March 11 2009 list has also been leaked.
