Finally got Catilla and I got him at half his typical ebay cost! So two for the price of one, making Chainclaw a bit of a bonus. yay!

This completes my Pretender Beasts which I see as a bit of a precursor to BW beast modes. Unlike other Pretenders these guys transform into a robotic version of their shells. Beast Wars refines the concept by making the shell break up and attached as a sort of armor around the robot mode instead of being a shell but it is still very similar as if you remove the 'skin' off a Beast Wars alt mode, you end up with a robotic animal as seen by the exposed metal when they take damage in the cartoon.
