Oops. Generations just calls it "Hun-Gurrr Base" (ハングルー基地) <shrugs>

I was referring to the two toys in the photo, not Combiners in general.

    Learnt something new tonight:

Evidently the cartoon model for G1 Orion Pax was originally going to be Ultra Magnus. Although the Diaclone Powered Convoy toy would've already existed at the time that Transformers The Movie was being conceived, I guess that at the time, Hasbro hadn't decided on which toy was going to become which character -- in this case, Powered Convoy becoming Ultra Magnus -- and so Sunbow came up with this design for a character who hadn't been assigned to a toy yet!

Awesome. And yet sadly this still doesn't settle the did-Dion-become-Ironhide-or-Magnus debate.

Well I have learnt something new as well. I know about the is Dion Magnus or Sentinel from the TFCC comic, but I never knew that Dion was also being considered to be Ironhide.

    Mind blown

    If anything, it fuels it.

A couple of things I noticed with todays Transformers haul.

    1) Lost Age Lockdown has painted brake callipers.

    2) Foil stickers are horrible to try an apply because they are magnetic

    3) Star Convoy might have the best Optimus/Convoy base mode of all.

And something I noted with Wednesday's haul: Rescue Bot's Electronic Optimus Primal is really fun.
