On the Thursday, there are a couple presentations by Hasbro and IDW.
On the Friday, there is an interview of some sort with Peter Cullen by Larry King (more details about it here).

The Preview Night event, which is Wednesday night in America - sometime on Thursday here (an expensive limited ticket feature for SDCC) appears to be giving away free stuff, including a Transformers item (a poster for the TFs Ride).
And Hasbro have issued a press-release of ALL their exclusives.
(just imagine how expensive it would be to collect everything if you were a committed toy collector, especially if you didn't live in America or were able to attend SDCC)
SDCC has grown to become the equivalent of a 4-day theme-park, with all the goodies on show and available to buy, or get for free.
