    Default Kre-O/LEGO Space Bridge build

So... it's been ages since I posted here -- so feel free to tell me I'm posting inappropriately.

I've been working on a huge Kre-O/LEGO build for my Transformers and I thought I might share it with you guys.

Unfortunately I wasn't sure how -- so here's a link to my freshly created Imgur album on the subject.

Basically I started this post a while ago -- but I was stymied. I've gotten into the habit to just uploading images as attachments -- but I can't do that here. So... uhhh... there's the link up above. But here's a couple of previews.

This is an OLD overall shot of the build:

Here's a shot of how the base of the bridge is storage for Kreons:

The internal rooms of the Space Bridge are all based on different possible destinations, taken from throughout the history of the Transformers franchise. The first one I finshed was based on Fire in the Sky.

    Here's the external view:

    Here's the insides:

The crystal has been built for rather dramatic light piping, here's what it looks like with a torch shining through the other end:

I'll show more soon -- I've got tonnes to show off.

Nice build. Where'd you get your Custom Kreon Galvatron? I can't find anywhere that stocks them.

Yes, this is an inappropriate post... because it makes me annoyed that Hasbro have never sold any display plates or build-sets to build a display for the hundred-plus Kreons so far released.

Gen1 Galvatron or Movie Galvatron (both have been done as Custom Kreons).

If Gen1 Galvatron, which was part of the second wave that saw very limited release in Asia, I got the set of 6 from ehobbybaseshop's ebay page. It's not cheap, but if you are desperate for the set, or most of them... that's about the cheapest I've seen.
Otherwise, you can get Galvatron for US$21 shipped, from here or here.

Nothing to do but build your own. S'what I'm doing.

Yes the G1, really sucks that it got such a small release. The others don't look too bad.

I've shoved up another gallery of my Kre-O Space Bridge build:

    http://imgur.com/a/3lunV

Here's some samples of the various rooms I've been building.

First here's a room based on Beast Machines:

And here's a room based on the old colouring book The Autobot Smasher:

And here's something based on the Mail-away STARS base:

And finally here's some shots of the Smelting Pool, which is the biggest area I've made for the Space Bridge so far... SO FAR THAT IS!

It even has a light-up gimmick to replicate the heat of the smelting:
