So, does he come with both sets of armour? The plain white as well as the red and blue?

you mean prime armour or the inner and outer magnus armour?

I get the impression it has both the inner and outer magnus armour. Which is pretty freakin awesome!

so it looks like they are doing a reissue of this , at least according to robotkingdom who are currently listing it as available to pre-order, Im currently about to order one for my 40th

At that price I'm genuinely surprised it sold out. I expected shelfwarming and discounts for ages.

I'd kill for one of these but there's no way I can justify it either to myself or to my family.

I've seen the Ultimetal Prime in person now, it's stunning. but like you the price is something that's very hard to justify. I have the Mega Action Series Prime, it's a quarter of the price and while it's a different design aesthetic it's just as awesome to look at, with the exception of all the removable metallic panels that Ultimetal has.

The piece does not hold together well. So I think is not worth it.
