2012 - How many TF's did you get, which were your rarest & fav's?

Personally for me:


Number of Transformers I got this Year: 136

Favorite Acquisition/s of the Year: MP-10 Optimus & Bot Shots Optimus with Trailer, FOC line toys, FOC game, 'Chicks Dig my Rig' T-Shirt

Rarest I got this Year: G1 Fortress Maximus, G1 Scorponok & G1 Reflector (all 100% complete)


Hoping you all have had a Primus-blessed year and may all your acquisitions for next year be in mint condition

For me, in my first year, since May, I have obtained 19 Transformer figures, which is alright for me, considering I don't have that much money to go with.
My fave would probably be either Classics Soundwave or Generations Thundercracker, both great figures IMO. It's been a good year.
Rarest I guess would be Encore 19. Not too rare, but felt really good getting and worth it, as if it was Vintage.

Number of Transformers I got this Year: 63 (plus doubles of some, so really about 70ish)

Favorite Acquisition/s of the Year: Grimlock Masterpiece (both hasbro and takara tomy) Beast Wars TM-SP-DX Optimus Primal (telemocha series) and cybertron leaderclass Galvatron just his alt mode was awesome.

Rarest I got this Year: Beast Wars TM-SP-DX Optimus Primal (this was a real pain in the butt to hunt down)

Favorite Acquisition/s of the Year: The FoC figures.

Rarest I got this Year: Not a clue As most of my purchases came out this year. I got a AM-19 Gaia Unicron though. Wouldn't call it rare, but it's my first TT purchase.

Rarest I got this Year: Arms Micron Thundercracker and TFPRiD Vehicon. MP10 also felt damn rare considering what a massive pain in the butt it was to track the sucker down!

Favourite: Tie between Jet Vehicon and MP-12
Rarest: Probably Tokyo Toy Festival exclusive Crystal Rodimus.

Only RiD Wheeljack was purchased from a brick and mortar store. No doubt I would've included Masterpiece Optimus had I found one in a local TRU.

Favourite Acquisition/s of the Year: tough call. Probably something 3rd party. Although the BW stuff is pretty cool.

Rarest I got this Year: Japanese Metals Optimus Primal vs Megatron 2 pack. Not very rare I know but it's the rarest I got.

- Grand Maximus, which I flew down to Sydney to pick up personally
- JP Gen1 Junior 3-pack
- Universal Studios toys & role-play items
- Gen1 Trainset (badly damaged though, so have to get another one)
- Playskool Gobots
- South American Radio Bot (no name, but an exclusive mould to Brazil)
- And a number of loose ends I wasn't expecting to find.
