Movie News from the last week

So much Movie news in the last week, I'm having trouble keeping up with it all, while being so busy with important stuff for local fans (the checklists, price listing, TRU and Target promotions, the Guidebook, and acquiring & processing toy images to cover all the Movie Toy Reviews coming soon), I'm putting all this in one posting. If it is something really significant, it will be in its own topic... and I've tried to make sure none of this hasn't already been posted here either.


Promotions/Events.

Status (with pics) of the Universal Studios Transformers Ride in California and Singapore - both are expected to open next year, and are well on their way to being constructed.

Hong Kong TRU Website with TFs products and DotM info (including TRU exclusives being released here), plus info on the special TRU promo events (similar to our Melbourne one) in China, HongKong, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand & Singapore. Each had different freebies and competition items, including Silver Bumblebee toys.

Peru TRU also had a promo event, which included a 30 minute clip from the TF3 movie (apparently)...

The Cannes Film Festival on this week also had a bit of TF3 Promoting, including a digital banner entrance to the event.


Toys.

Walmart Optimus & Commettor bought and shown off.

Walmart Legion 3-pack (Bumblebee, Soundwave, Rodimus) released.

US Stores with TF3 Game purchase exclusives - including unlockable characters, character skins, free toys, free movie tickets, & free IDW comic.

TF3 Movie Soundtrack and Score website, (http://www.transformers3music.com/) with pre-orders for a June 7th release. Looks like a downloadable copy, so we may not see a real physical copy in stores this time.
