    Some additional comments

"The greatness that was Combiner Wars has been reduced to "aesthetic fatigue" for me in its second year, due to the seemingly endless 're-shell' and remold."

"A nice ending for a strong line of figures that did an amazing job retooling so many figures from existing moulds. Very clever but simple, proving the old adage 'keep it simple, stupid' or K.I.S,S."

    "So much awesomeness!"

"It's a shame the Club and Botcon are ending but I hope something fairer to Australian fans is able to replace them."

    Some additional comments

"Some of the titans return Titan Masters have been very impressive in their integration with their vehicle (crashbash) others not so much."

"The level of design being incorporated into Masterpiece toys is exceptional, while there are a few niggles that people have rightly picked out, I can't wait to see where the line continues to."

"So sick of the MP-11 mound and it's variants. If they make a new version of it in 2017 I'll be livid after buying these stupid coneheads."

"SO happy to get a beast wars masterpiece. hope for many more to come."

"WAY too many non headmaster characters turned into Headmasters. Didn't any of those. They had so many actual Headmaster characters to chose from, but instead they changed up Target and Power masters? BAH."

    Some additional comments

"The warrior class in this line has been a great surprise. unfortunately so much of it has had poor distribution, I'm still looking for a reasonably priced copy of several of these toys."

"Bisk. Great name, great toy. RID/TAV is line where I like the Decepticons way more than the Autobots. Shame the toys don't live up to the cartoon design so well in many cases"

"Good variety, wish they were easier to find and better priced."

"Great to be getting more decepticons now. hoping the toyline lasts a while longer and we get plenty more cool unique characters."

"I haven't been following this line at all."

"Dragonus is a neat figure, but sometimes I hear a soft voice late at night. Something about leading the Saurian Overlords to former glory and destroying a group of... ducks, was it? Anyone else had this happen with their figure?"

"You can't collect everything amiright? (Unless your name is Griffin of course)"

    Some additional comments

"I only managed one episode of Combiner Wars, something to get back and finish."

"Decided to skip the Combiners Wars cartoon after Ep1. This COULD've had so much potential."

"Oh, combiner Wras cartoon. What a P.O.S. All that hype and it was total trash."

"The rescue bots remain strong and consistent, Robots in Disguise has its moments but lacks much compared to previous shows in regards to developed characters and consistently interesting stories"

"The second season of RiD has been a major step up compared to the first. especially the Starscream story arc"

"The Combiner Wars show/machinima was an ABOMINATION and Superman needs to reverse time to prevent it from being created asap."

    Winner: Windblade (22%)
    Runner-ups: Starscream (20%), Ironhide (17%)

    Some additional comments
"Having to pick just one comic, writer, artist and colourist for the transformers comics is very challenging. so much of what's been produced over the last year has been so good."

"Still enjoying the antics of MTMTE although I think the last few issues on the Necroworld or whatever it was dragged on for a while."

"I'm sad to not vote Roche for writer but Sins was not up to scratch with his previous work, although I think it was better than it would've been not in his hands."

"MTMTE was amazing. So dense. So many awesome new TF concepts. Got me back into comics."

"The thing that kept me coming back to Transformers media over the past decade is the characters. They're great, I love them, that's why I collect the figures in the first place. What I don't love is seeing their characterisations gutted and their arcs written into a corner by idw. :( I used to really enjoy the comics but it's miserable to read when your favourite character is repeatedly run into the ground by the writers"

'Poor Sins of the Wreckers, in most other categories it would stand head and shoulders above all the competition, but More Than Meets The Eye (so aptly named) is just the complete package, laugh, feels, action, story, without fail."

Always an enjoyable read and looks like the otca awards will live on long past the hottest 100. Maybe we could steal that idea and get the board to name their top 100 toys of the year in order!

Thanks Paulbot for organising all this, and congrats to the winners and runner ups.

A bit surprised that Hardhead won favourite TR deluxe. I like Hardhead, and he's great, but I thought Triggerhappy had a louder applause; based on reviews and reactions. Still it's great and interesting to see these results.

It's actually going on 11 years, the line began as Classics in 2006. Feels weird that I've been seriously collecting TFs for only 10ish years.
