I predominantly get domestic light/medium aircraft flying over head, although I'm also fortunate enough to have historical aircraft (Old war-birds & Connie :D) too, so it'd certainly be awesome to have fighter jets passing over regularly - You blokes are lucky! ;):cool:

Nice! :D - Where I live is right under the flight path for a runway at Albion Park Regional Airport, of whom also houses the "Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Inc. (http://hars.org.au/)" - and much like yourself, they fly at under 1000ft on approach & whilst sadly we don't get squadrons (Apart from the "Seen 'em once, seen them every time" Roulettes (http://www.airforce.gov.au/Interact/Displays/Air_Force_Roulettes/?RAAF-rfHiMv85HKPcF1XWFcteALXKGiyJTpHL) :rolleyes::p), having this lovely old bird (http://youtu.be/HAPQBa1g0wI) fly at what feels like only a stone's throw over head is truly an experience. ;):cool:

Some may not consider it lucky for some peace and quiet, I have been in Singapore where they had training exercise and F-16s flew in/out non stop for over 4 hours. While it can be an exciting experience to take photos but it can be really annoying as well. Thanks god they were not allowed to use after burners within the city.

Despite taking over a dozen shots of this same display with various multi autofocus points I can't seem to get Michaelangelo to get in focus (although I now notice that Leo is slightly out as well). Is there something I can do to get all turtles in focus in this formation?

Sorry to jump in but on a basic look. Its probably becos you're using auto-focus and as you're focusing on the middle of the image, the side of the image tends to be out of focus...

This is true for this particular image but I took about a dozen shots with multi focus picking all sorts of different positions to focus on and mikey was OOF in all of them. I notice now that he is standing further in front than leonardo, didn't notice this at the time.

I guess my real question is, is there a way to get all 4 of those turtles in focus at once, manual or automatic.

Hah! After far too much time messing about I finally found the shooting mode that would allow me to control the aperture size. To great effect!

Only downside I found to narrowing the aperture was that the brightness of the image went way down, so I had to employ flash :)

if you're using a Tripod you can also increase exposure time to let more light in.

I really liked that entire set. Prowl is up there with my favourites of animated, just because of the elegant Motorbike transformation, one of the best ones they've ever done.

The one on the left is a S.H. Figuarts SSJ Goku with jacksdo SSJ3 head. On the right is the S.H. Figuarts SSJ3 Goku.

I actually prefer the one on the left, it looks better (and cheaper $65) but the QC on the head could have been better. The S.H. Figuarts SSJ3 Goku is nice bar the crappy skin tone and the hair(too heavy and loose ball joints).
