So, waiting is tough. It can make you stay at home just waiting just in case it comes, (afraid the guy will shove it in your small mailbox/p.o box or leave it under the mat) and chances are, it doesn't. This thread is for what you're waiting on. It can be very tedious, causing some (including myself) to think that the item will never arrive.
As for myself, I'm waiting on TRU Reissue G1 Soundwave from bbts, which ships in October. What are you guys waiting on, related to orders, not so much releases. I'm interested in knowing. Comment below. :D

I'm waiting on two MISB G1 Megatrons from Canada... it's really making me nervous!

Earlier this year I ordered a bunch of First Edition Cliff Jumpers from a guy in Canada, paid $75 odd for shipping, due to the fact that I bought 7 of the suckers though, at the time they worked out relatively cheap compared to eBay scalper prices ($40 vs about $60 each). postage was supposed to take 4-5 weeks. ended up taking over 9 weeks. we were actually in the middle of claiming lost mail when it finally turned up. My plan was to keep one for myself and sell at cost to board members who were as desperate as me, but because it took so long to get here, ebay prices plummeted when the new stock was released and now I'm stuck with a couple.

Your stuff will eventually turn up but you might have to be patient. Canada post sucks, it's very expensive and very slow.

right now myself, I'm waiting for Saturday, a delivery slip turned up in the Mail on Monday and i can't get to the post office till Saturday morning. this parcel should have a AM vehicon, Am jet Vehicon, AM skywarp, and AM zombie CJ.

Nope, the postage label was there, he actually spotted me $5 because it was a bit more than he expected. I wanted to give him super positive feedback but the postage took so long that the listing details weren't available to leave feedback on anymore. His communication and offer to organise a couple more than he initially had to sell and going and sourcing them for me was above and beyond the call of duty.

Since then though, I've seen a couple things listed in Canada that I've wanted and passed up just because of the postage expense and potential waiting period.

I find USA is fine, USPS first class mail international is farily cheap for smaller packages and two weeks at the most.

That's my preference and never had an issue :) However many power sellers in the US would opt for USPS Priority Mail International which costs about double, as unfortunately USPS First Class International is not registered and the sellers are not covered against mishaps.

Yeah, I have to wait til 7 Oct to see if Seller replies. Oh well... you win some you lose some hey. I kind of felt that the Seller may not have been 100% honest when I bid on his items but I figured it was worth the risk since I really want a MISB G1 Megatron more than ANY other TF toy or collectable (the other one on my most wanted list was a 2008 BotCon SG Megs - which I now have :)). I'm back to square one now and on the search again for a MISB G1 Megatron.

But I'm getting a bit worried coz BBTS have had the item available for pre-order since August or so. Surely they can't be getting enough stock to fill all pre-orders....?
I have a feeling I may get an email come November regretfully informing me that Hasbro did not deliver enough items, blah blah blah.
Now I'm wondering if I should suck it up and buy the retail release versions when (if?) I see them...

I think it should be coming along. Hasbro has extended the 'G2 exclusive' to be sold through RK as well. We'll just have to wait :)
Still, I'd nab a retail set at Target/Kmart if I find it; no luck for 2 days. Worst case scenario is refunding it a few months later.

Well I did end up contacting BBTS and they assured me that very large numbers of this item were being supplied by Hasbro and that I should chill the <beep> out. (My words not theirs).

And I received another email this morning telling me that my G2 FOC Bruticus item has been received, processed and is ready for shipment!!!!!!

So now I'm really waiting for something...

Eehh... Amazon Japan was supposed to send off my Airachnid a few days ago, but now they're saying it'll arrive on November 24 along w/ Arms Micron Smokescreen. So my friend's asking me if I wanna wait for those two toys to arrive first before sending off my MP Lambor and other Arms Micron toys (Vehicons & Thundercracker) or not... but... damnit, I can't wait! So I've asked him to send off Lambor and the AMs now, and send me Airachnid and Smokescreen next time w/ MP Soundwave (and hopefully United Artfire).

Ok. I'm really annoyed. It takes me a fair bit to get annoyed at anything but I'm annoyed a AustPost.
The parcel pick up card has opening hours of Mon-Fri 0600 - 1900 hours, but the website has 0900 - 1700. The card has 0900 - 1300 Saturdays too, but the website says its closed.
So I called 131318 and spoke to an operator, and they couldn't work out what hours my post office was open.

I'm waiting to find a TFPRiD Vehicon in a store! I went to Big W this morning - none there. One of the staff members called Big W Winsto and we were on hold for 20 min... nothing there. I couldn't be bothered driving around and checking out other Big Ws... but now I know that if I'd bothered to check Merrylands then I would've gotten one there. Ah well. Thing is... I want this toy, but I already have the Arms Micron version. I want just 1 Hasbro version to add to my army, because I'd like to build a small squad of Vehicons where none of them are actually doubles (cos the Hasbro version would be a variant of my AM one, but not a proper double).

But considering that I'm basically hunting for a variant of a toy that I have, I don't really want to expend a lot of time and fuel chasing it down. Ultra Marginal sighted one at Macq Centre today, but I really don't feel like going out of my way to check, especially if it'd be gone by time I get there. So... I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait until I find one incidentally.

Laser Prime is indeed an incredibly awesome toy! :D Although he was a shelfwarmer (I remember seeing a mountain of them at TRU once in 1998 -- so I bought a second one to keep sealed (I've since sold it :p)). Seems that the reissue has kept the aftermarket price low, which is great for collectors. :D IMO he's one of the best Optimus Prime toys ever made.

If it shipped mid last week, you should have it by Monday. But being Christmas that may make things more difficult. You picked the worst time of the year for online.;)

Amazon's shipping is super quick and very reliable, you have nothing to worry about yet, and normally when you place the order you'll get an "estimated delivery date", which can be as far as a month or two later. I don't think Amazon will do anything before that date. Generally everything I've ordered from amazon, even with the cheapest "30 business day" shipping, it all arrives within two weeks.

Yeah, it'll mean I'll have to wait a month before I get Rumble/Jaguar... I'll just have to be satisfied with Condor (Laserbeak) in the meantime. :)

I ordered a Thundercracker back in January. Tracking info starts on Jan 7, with delivery on the 18th (though I couldn't pick up till the 21st). I usually expect around 10 business days for delivery from the US, though I've occasionally found it will take up to 30. Easter will slow things down too so I wouldn't start to worry for another week or so.

Did iParcel provide you a tracking number and url in your shipment notification? The tracking info was pretty comprehensive, though don't trust the locations once it gets to Australia. I live in Perth, but my tracking info shows attempted delivery in Queensland, then transfer to NSW an hour later, and that I picked it up from Victoria. :confused:

Got MP-15 and MP-16 sitting in Melbourne waiting to clear customs. I was hoping that they might arrive before the weekend but I suppose a few extra days is a small price to pay considering I was able to snag them for $30 each. :)



I ordered a Thundercracker back in January. Tracking info starts on Jan 7, with delivery on the 18th (though I couldn't pick up till the 21st). I usually expect around 10 business days for delivery from the US, though I've occasionally found it will take up to 30. Easter will slow things down too so I wouldn't start to worry for another week or so.

Did iParcel provide you a tracking number and url in your shipment notification? The tracking info was pretty comprehensive, though don't trust the locations once it gets to Australia. I live in Perth, but my tracking info shows attempted delivery in Queensland, then transfer to NSW an hour later, and that I picked it up from Victoria. :confused:

Maybe get him to recheck his email? The subject was " Shipping Confirmation for your order from Toys "R" Us. " The tracking number and a url to the iParcel tracking site were in between the item cost and the sub total lines.

Of course, they may have changed their system again - when they first started up last year they weren't even sending shipping confirmation emails.

I'm honestly a bit worried.:(TC hasn't come from TRU in 2 weeks or less and we have no confirmation of shipping OR tracking number email.:(
If it doesn't arrive on Tuesday, I might contact them and iParcel.

EDIT: Did some research on the confirmation and some other Aussies didn't get any confirmation but their stuff arrived within 2-3 weeks, so I should be right.:);)

yeah the US postage is funny some time...it could be fast like in a week or like upto 4 weeks , so there nothing to worry about till 4th week... Had a item that travel around the US before it came here...like LA-to newyork sorting centre before it came here because it had tracking so i seen it travel everywhere :eek:

Yup, don't stress yet. Ten business days is about the minimum time for regular post and I think 30 business days (6 weeks) is the usual minimum time before a postal service will conduct an investigation into missing items and declare them lost if they can't be traced. Give it a few more weeks and if it hasn't turned up then get in touch with them, but you'll probably find it arrives before then. :)

Yeah, international postage in general is a bit funny like that. I ordered three books from the UK a couple of years ago. They shipped in individual packages from the same place on the same day. The first arrived in two weeks, the second arrived two weeks later and the third two weeks after that, literally on the day I was going to contact the merchant if it didn't show (~45 days after posting). On the flip side towards the end of last year I had something come by regular post from the UK in 3 business days (with a weekend). :confused:

Depending on the method of course. ;) It might take anywhere from 2-6 weeks by regular post. Did.TRU.specify what type.of service they offered you, Bidoof? Regular? Priority Mail International? Express?

Just the lowest I think. I think it'll get here on Wednesday at the most. It estimated 14 and it's only been 10 so it'll probably get here quite soon.
