New PSU for my computer. By sheer coincidence the new PSU I purchased was the same make and model as my old one, which I didn't realise until I removed the old PSU.

I got a white iPhone 4S today. And before you say anything, I didn't want to wait for the mysterious iPhone 5 because I had a 3GS and I felt like I was using an antique. And the iPhone 5 could still be a year away. I just need to get it up and start asking Siri stupid questions.

That is awesome, I'm hoping to build my own MAME cabinet during the Xmas break using instructions from the net and my own set up. But it cant compare to owning an original cabinet. I've seen ads in the paper for pre-built cabinets with 2500 pre-installed games and 2 x 6 button joysticks going for $1500. How much did it set you back if you dont mind me asking?

Nice dude! Looks awesome!!
Remember to keep it oiled. I just used to use sewing machine oil and rub a little on with a soft rag, Use too much and it'll get in the scabbard and go all icky. Oil it every month or so. You'd be surprised how quick they get rust spots on them if you forget or are lazy.

Thanks mate, yeah I bought some chuji oil and will oil it regularly. I have to do it at the end of every training in fact, for habit forming. To be honest I find myself addicted to the clove oil smell .

I know what you mean. If I had the space in the garage I'd keep both of them. The giant is a good one for riding on the bike track down here, and keep the monster for the bush. But I can only have one, so the monster it is:cool:

We're gonna rename her Kuri (she's been named Tori by the breeder already) for a few reasons:
1) After Kuribo in Super Mario Bros (Kuri is Chestnut in Japanese but that doesn't have much significance, though i guess you could say the colour is kinda similar!)
2) My wife's previous Yorkshire Terriers were called Lily & Anri. She likes the ending sound of the words (ri/li) cause apparantly dogs have an easy time recognizing it.
3) It sounds cute :p

I try the wii u in the store and it was quite heavy the controller , so just wondering if it did affect after long session...and does the screen thing actually get used when playing or just a gimmick ...And your right there no killer game out that worth it for me to get it right now...

Yeah the wii u pad to me still feels strange and uncomfortable to hold in the hand, and it basically works like a touch screen handheld console of its own.

Heavy controller? You sure they didn't weigh it down a bit so it wouldn't get flogged? The Gamepad is quiet light for it's size and for it's components. It's actually not much heavier than an XBOX controller.
It does feel weird at first coz other controllers are smaller and more comapct. And as for long gaming sessions, it's not like you hold it up towards the screen, you just rest it in your hands or lap like you do when using PS3 or XBOX controllers.
As for the screen, depending on the game, it can either be used partly in game as an in-game menu/pasue menu, map, and some games have off-screen play, which means you can play the game on the Gamepad screen alone. This is good if the wife or kids want to use the TV, or you want to play in bed or elsewhere in the house. I also installed Netflix on my Wii U so i can watch TV show and movies on my Gamepad. Great stuff.

Much like yourself, I've never read any of H.P. Lovecraft's work either but have heard the name & seen numerous references to it throughout my life, in various forms of media.
So I thought it was high-time that I take a look into the Lovecraftian world and this particular volume seems to present a good serving of tales, as it collects, amongst other things, all of the original Cthulu stories!
It's the concept of the "Old Ones" or "The Old Gods" that have courted my curiosity the most with Lovecraft (Along with my deep affinity for the Supernatural, Mythological, Occult & Horror) and is the main driving factor of this purchase. ;)
In all it seems to collect 37, or so, of the stories that Lovecraft published through the various Sci-fi magazines of his day - I can't wait to start delving through them so once I have I might follow this post up with a bit of an update. :)

The fit and finish on his aren't nearly as polished as mine is. His is really rough. Also, his magnets weren't glued into the metal handles (easily fixable, but he has to buy a certain type of glue to do it).
He said that his looks like a prototype of mine, and he's right. Side by side, you'd think his was a test shot of mine.
Even with those issues, he's still happy with it.

Unbelievable.
Less than two minutes later BOTH my magnets became unglued. One is stuck inside, and they're very strong, so that's going to be a pain to fix.

yeah. i remember you mentioning something about that. i've been looking for one for ages. this one is a 51, 4 on the floor (i've got a toploader sitting in the shed for when the time comes). starts well but i think the timing is out. the body is pretty good but the paint is rubbish. i just want to get it running right , get the suspension and steering tight then go from there. i just want to make it into a tough falcon 500 (which is what it is). it was originally a polar white, 221ci, 3 on the tree. Got any recent pics of yours?

When i bought it, the guy had an xy gt bonnet on it in green but he wanted to keep it:( the pins were in the car so i put them on, i couldn't help myself:p

Nice toploaders are fun!! Cleveland or Windsor? As long as the body is good you should be right. Don't have any recent pics of it hasnt really changed much in the last 5 years except for what's powering it ;)

Awesome!

Price?

you just simply go into a archery store and get one .....:D
there no requirement like license or anything , you should go to your local archery club and try out a compound bow ....which is different to a recurve bow which usually the one that they have at "try archery fun" days...
I went to the fun days a while back just to try it out and it was fun but wasn't that interested in it, but then one friend got a compound bow and let me try it ...it was a whole other ball game to me...I just loved it....
So you go down to your local archery club and ask them to try both type as it a personal preference of which type you like , they always very friendly and helpful .
Only from then if you like it , you should get your own bow .... as it need to be set to your measurement ... as all bow are customised to the owner , which a bow store will do that for you when you buy one....
The bow and accessories are quiet expensive , but you only need to buy them once and they last a very long time....
so give it a try and you won't regret it .....
...gee ....I sound like a commercial :D

Beyond "Around The World (http://youtu.be/s9MszVE7aR4)", I'm not really a fan of Daft Punk eh? - I think "One More Time (http://youtu.be/FGBhQbmPwH8)" just drove me insane with how often it was played, but anyway... :p
I really dig TRON: Legacy and I felt Daft Punk did an utterly amazing job with the Score/Soundtrack, so felt compelled to purchase the CD - It audibly compliments the visuals of the film perfectly.

I've gone into plenty of detail here (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=19250) about BabyMetal's debut album, but I also picked up Limp Bizkit's debut album too! - It just took me 17 years longer to do so! :p:D

I've always been a big fan of the mid-90s Casper Movie; Whether it's the idea of befriending a Ghost, the exploration of abandoned (Haunted) mansions or a long held "Childhood Crush" on Cristina Ricci... :p - I still enjoy it to this day.
So I preordered the new HD-Remaster of the film on Blu-Ray via Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KW3A6E0/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_-X8gub0VWMJKZ) and it arrived last week! :D
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BxXxNV2CMAAeCsP.jpg:large
I'm actually quite impressed with the remaster as it's FAR better in terms of quality of both sound & vision, compared to the DVD I bought only last year ;) - so much so, and due to my love of the film, that I decided to track down the Soundtrack/Score on CD! :D
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BxtyBvECIAI2G2N.jpg:large
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BxtyENtCMAApzcQ.jpg:large
The film's score, to me, has always been superb; It carries a whimsicaly-spooky feel with moments feel quite cartoony indeed, whilst also drawing upon the tragedy of Casper's story for some emotional moments too. ;):)
The film has held up rather well actually and I'd recommend picking up the Blu-Ray if you're a nostalgia-tragic like myself, or if you've got children and you're looking for something kid-friendly in-time for Halloween next month.
