EMMA FROST: I'm legekinetic.
SEBASTIAN SHAW: What's that?
EMMA FROST: My mere presence automatically compels men to cross their legs.
SEBASTIAN SHAW: That's ridiculous.
EMMA FROST: Then uncross your legs.

Apparently Bane is set to "Break The Bat" which would be awesome. I know that story ark, and can hope that they do it right. Click here for the article (http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/rorschachsrants/news/?a=28612), and has some cool posters that I think are unofficial, but cool none the less.

True, but if they do incorporate that story arc, Bruce finds a replacement. Its a long story, would be hard to condense it down into a single movie. I did hear that Bale would be up for doing another movie with Nolan if he asked, so who knows. We can only speculate atm. But Bane would be sweet if they do him justice in this movie.

Yeah, I felt it was a little short but is certainly was well done and IMO for anyone who is clueless on the whole Warhammer 40K thing, such as myself :p, it does a really good job of fleshing out the universe for the viewer and possible future events. ;)
I personally though would've loved to of seen the Necron! :D

I think calling them 'Trainwrecks' is a little harsh, they beat the crap out of T3, X-Men 3 and any Harry Potthead movie. ;)
Hell, my favourite scene in the entire Trilogy is with The Architect. :D
I personally think Bill & Ted should be left alone - they'll kill it. :(

If it's done by Sam Raimi we should be in good hands. Normally I would be sceptical of a remake but considering how Drag Me to Hell turned out, it shouldn't end up being some cheesy Hollywood film. I wouldn't even mind if they did it in 3D.

Well, when you've got American actors such as The Sellout: Dwayne Johnson doing Tooth Fairy movies, you can understand why European actors are in such high demand. ;):p

She's even less of a character in the Ultimate Universe. :)
Sharon Carter has a role to play in Captain America or it's sequel. They could have put Carol Danvers (Ms Marvel) into SHIELD for the Avengers movie (like in Ultimate Universe) or Bobbi Morse (Mockingbird). Even Jessica Drew could have worked. All of them have much longer comic book histories and are unlikely to be staring in their own movies anytime soon.
I just think there's not much room for the Maria Hill character to grow in a limited set of movies, and having Cobie playing someone with the potential to be a superhero in a later movie would be more exciting.

I didn't like it. The promotional material I'd seen was very misleading. I'd have prefered to have seen a movie set during the actual Battle of LA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Los_Angeles) (which is not referenced at all in the movie) than what is basically a video game on the big screen.

Found something interesting in my surfing. The Big Bang (http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=55343).
Plot Summary:
Late one night, Los Angeles private investigator, Ned Cruz (Antonio Banderas) gets a visit from a recently paroled Russian boxer with an intriguing job offer: find Lexie, his missing girlfriend—and the 30-million dollar stash of diamonds she's hiding. As Detective Cruz sets out to find her, the clues send him into the city’s seediest corners, from a Hollywood action star with a dirty little secret (James Van Der Beek), to an enterprising porn producer who takes a personal interest in his own work (Snoop Dogg), and a kinky waitress with an unusual fetish for particle physics (Autumn Reeser). Lexie proves to be as elusive as she is beautiful and Cruz becomes obsessed with finding her. With time running out, Cruz discovers the trail leads to reclusive billionaire (Sam Elliot), and his physicist (Jimmi Simpson), intent on recreating The Big Bang underneath the New Mexico desert. Tailed by a trio of cops also looking to find the missing diamonds, and with the body count piling up, Cruz soon realizes that what appeared to be a standard missing person's case is anything but, and could quite possibly bring about the end of the world as we know it.
I love AB movies, so this should be good. And it looks like a noir film, so even better.

Yeh I agree it wasn't that great. You were basically watching Black Hawk Down with aliens filmed in an arcade shooter format stripped down to one (rather dull) character development surrounded by stereotypes.
Apart from like maybe one tense moment (first combat with the aliens) it really fails in suspension of belief, especially the latter half of the movie.
That said I still think its a enjoyable way to pass the time, but definitely not a memorable film.

Synopsis
A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, “Real Steel” stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

Technically it was because the term reboot, in media dealing with serial fiction, means to discard much or even all previous continuity in the series and start anew with fresh ideas. (taken from wiki)
Still doesn't excuse that the movie was actually pretty terrible :p

I guess if you argue about the date when the space station exists then it is but that's about it (mind you Star Trek has been far more guilty of that with TNG). I didn't mind it too much- it at least took itself more seriously than certain other franchises in recent years heh.

Watch Captain America. Do it. Now.
Seriously, it's a damn good film. Cannot wait for The Avengers.
Yep loved it, probably my favourite film of 2011 so far. Chris Evans nailed it and I loved Hugo as Red Skull, though it was a bit short and I had some issues with the way Hydra were portrayed. But overall great movie and the best Marvel film to date IMO.

I wasn't sure Hugo Weaving was the best choice for Red Skull when I read about but he was great. And the effects were fantastic, one of the best translations of a comic character's look to a movie version.
I also really liked the cameo of the Human Torch early on in the film. A nice touch given the casting of the main role but it meant I spent most of the rest of the film wondering if Namor might appear too.

Although I'll need to see what the threat is for them to assemble other than Loki.
Which is very interesting as The Skrulls and Kree have both been said by Joss that they are not involved.

And I "get" to watch the Puss in boots movie as part of the end of year school party day. Not a movie I wouldve seen otherwise but at least it is getting "decent for a kids movie" reviews, the 4-6 kids get to watch that dull movie about a dolphin getting a tail! :D

Allow it, bruv. ;) I've seen loads of films this year and can honestly say I enjoyed Attack the Block the most. Rec 2 was number 1 for me before I saw this. It just had so many memorable scenes, like when [spolier] Moses asks the drug dealer if he can store the dead female alien at his place, and the dealers best friend thinks it's a puppet. Love the part when the drug dealer then puts his sunnies on it[/spoiler].
And the slow-mo scene at the end was just absolutely stunning. Arrgh, I wants the BD now!!

Very interested to see when this hobbit film will end. Should give a good indication of the focus of the second Hobbit film. I expect from this trailer that Smaug will be the focus of movie #2, we might not even see him in this film (an end at the elvish fortress or on the river running?).
Who knows, the rumours have been floating around since day dot that the second film may focus on the time gap between the hobbit and LotR, and of Aragorn and Gandalfs adventures during that time.
Hopefully there wont be a year between the two like the LotR movies, it's too long a wait!

When I was younger there was this book that some kids read called The Hobbit and on the cover was a big red dragon, so I assumed that was the titular character.

If you like the muppet show or the movies, then you'll really likr the new one. Its more like a movie with muppets in it than a muppet movie witth some human cast members, but the big human roles (Segel, Adams, even Black) are well done and cartoony.

Lots of one liners and the plot is a mix between the original muppet movie and the muppets take manhattan.
Kinda funny that the Muppets (Kermit in particular) are kind of the bad guys due to the contract...
And the role of the in movie bad guy "Tex Richman" was written with Alan Rickman in mind... while the guy that plays the role is ood, rickman would have been perfect.

I know it wont be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm excited about the re-release of Titanic. When it was out at the movies (and it was out for a long time) I didn't go to see it because "I know the ending" and "Celine Dion's song". I didn't see it until it was on television and then found that I absolutlely loved the movie.
Now with the upcoming re-release I finally, finally get to see it on the big screen. I saw the trailer in 3D today and seeing scenes from the film that way was terrific. The 3D conversion has worked pretty well, especially in the scenes once that infamous iceberg hits. I trust James Cameron to have delivered a quality 3D product.
