Depending on how busy they are, sometimes they mail an item and don't send you the tracking info right away. If you have an Australia Post customer account try logging into that and seeing if the tracking info is in there.

Yea, don't use PayPal's conversion rate, learnt that the hard way. Always try to use your credit/debit card's conversion rate, because it'll be closer to the actual rate, if you can.
I completely understand your annoyance regarding the refund but you unfortunately gave them the easy way out by saying you'd take the refund in your reply.
Hope you're able to find a Jetfire elsewhere.

Mpm 11 ratchet in stock just got an order confirmation
This is the gamble we take any time we purchase items in a different currency. The dollar fluctuates on a daily basis, it's really good against the SG $ this week. good for some and not others. The same could just as easily happen purchasing from any other international online store.
Exchange rate issue could happen with any store yes.
Very disappointed with how OMP have handled this though - I only ended up in this situation because they stuffed up my order and had no interest in making even the slightest concession for the delay + having only an item with damage to send me as a result. And they've ignored my email informing them I've been left out of pocket.
