Phew! Had me worried there for a minute.
Ummm... no. Just no

Currently on an old school Sci-Fi kick with Season one of SG-1 and The Dead Zone.
I love Anthony Michael Hall in The Dead Zone, and its refreshing to have most of the characters not just see him as some self proclaimed Clairvoyant.
And Stargate is as fantastic as I remember, though the nudity in the first ep was surprising
To me, nothing will ever beat Star Gate for Sci-Fi, oh how I miss it :(
Ooo totally forgot about Farscape! That has to be next for me.
Finished watching the first season of True Detective. My assessment - easily the best show on TV right now.
never even heard of it - is the detective more reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes or Inspector Gadget? Either is fine with me as long as it's not some boring in between (though Sherlock with a helicopter that comes out of his hat does have a certain appeal :p)
Thought I'd ask the hive mind :) what is a good animated series I can watch?
Any genre, but something with a great storyline helps
I quite like Psycho-Pass. A 2012 anime in a world where brain scans can instantly determine your 'psycho-pass', a report on personality, mental state and criminal tendencies. If your crime coefficient rises too high, you are hunted down and arrested, sometimes with lethal force. This is old school sci- fi. Asking questions and poking holes in utopian/dystopian social systems.
Yes there is. Looks like it was released just last week on DVD and Blu-Ray (March 11). It's no guaruntee we'll get it in Australia but it's there. edit Wait. I'm an idiot. That's an Australian site so there's a good chance we're getting it.
I had to look around for a dub trailer that wasn't region locked. Don't be put off by the dubstep they use in the trailer. Funimation likes doing that in their trailers.
Really enjoying the new season of Hannibal. That and The Blacklist are my two favs right now.
The 100 is a new one. I have watched 2 episode and i am finding the show interesting.
Watched the first episode, was pretty good. I'm stuck in Crisis at the moment though. Such an awesome show.
have you seen tron uprising ?...that great if your a fan....
Black Lagoon also is a great action anime also and is dubbed :)
Thanks for this recommendation.... it an awesome show!! I didn't even know about it at all , and would of never seen it....it up there among the greats , very good story line ....
what other one you think is good?...
I agree with Tron Uprising. Unfortunate that it was axed after one season.
I only just discovered Ergo Proxy (I missed it by six years). I've watched one episode but it looks like the kinda thing I'm into.
Susei No Gargantia where a child soldier and his high tech mech are catapulted through time or space (it's never clarified which) to a primitive, post-apocalyptic Earth. Meets the natives, tries to fit in long enough to find a way home.
Ghost in the Shell: Arise and Mardock Scramble are pretty good but the release rate is pretty slow on these hour-long episodes.
And if you don't mind anime with a touch of mayhem I suggest Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, Kill La Kill, Space Dandy and Redline.
Game of thrones night FTW.
i finally got around to watching the first season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles last night & really enjoyed it. I'll start watching Season 2 later on tonight
it is worth watching.
My wife felt obliged to watch Game of Thrones, now she is hooked. So now I am finally sitting down watching it through. It's ok. Maybe because everyone else has hyped it up so much I'm a little bit underwhelmed. Peter Dinklage is good for a laugh though.
Everybody i've spoken to about GoT loves it. I still havent watched a single episode :o
Picked up the second season of Steven Seagal's True Justice. I'm a fan :D
Now to find some time to for a Seagalathon :p
^ Like you guys, hadn't watched an episode of GoT, that was until last night. The wife and I wanted to see what all the hype was about. We only watched the first episode and so far... meh. We have a 3 episode rule - we'll give any series a chance by watching the first 3 episodes. If we're not hooked by then, we move on. 2 more episodes to go...
I'm a fan of anything Seagal. The man can do no wrong in my eyes. I stand and salute his autographed photo on my wall each morning
