With trypticon and omega supreme as characters how can it not be great? haha
Here's hoping that gameplay is not a P.O.S and a fanboy game.

It's very good and flexible when it comes to implementation like all of it's predecessors. Arkham Asylum uses the Unreal engine for example.
Unreal Engine has become a bit of a standard in game developing due to its alleged flexibility. The Quake III and Doom 3 engines lost to it as an standard as they were much more limited when it came to large environments and multiple characters on screen.
I too doubt they would be playable characters, but it'd be a nice (and fairly awesome) change if there was a level in each campaign where you could be the city formers, with a goal to destroy or defend an area from swarms of enemies.
Must resist urge to replay TF game on PS2, trying to finish Assassins creed II!
restraining self till game footage/play
IGN website have posted up screenshots from the trailer here.
I was impressed by that as well. And the bit where cover for Bumblebee just flips up out of the ground. Could lad to some really cool level design going on there.
I think this may add some extra adge to the game. ALmost like destructable cover in way. It could force players to take risks. As I just finished Gears of War 2 the other day, as I thought back onmy experience, I realised that I spent most of my time a long way from the action with a sniper rifle, thereby missing out on the enjoyment that the chainsaw gun provides. That is until I was given a flamethrower!
Just think, how you would have to change tactics with a shifting landscape! Bring it on!
Excitement growing!:D:D:D
