Gutsman Heavy is right.
To elaborate - Spiderman appears in G1 US#3 in his black symbiote costume. The events of Transformers #3 occurs shortly before Spiderman #258. At this stage the Transformers (primarily the Decepticons) activities have drawn the world's attention, although S.H.I.E.L.D. seemed surprisingly dismissive* of the Decepticon threat!!

In the Transformers-Avengers crossover Spiderman is a member of the Avengers, and yeah, sporting his traditional red & blue tights. ;)

*Nick Fury's response to the Decepticon threat:

IMO Nick Fury became way cooler in the Ultimate and movie universes.
L: Ultimate Fury, R: movie Fury (as seen in the Iron Man movie)

I doubt Sam Jackson Fury would've sat on his laurels with Decepticons rampaging about...
That Nick Fury quote makes me wonder why there was never a Transformers/Godzilla crossover? :D
(I think Godzilla's adventures in the Marvel Universe are still canon... but no one is ever going to mention them again.)
A summary of Godzilla's adventures. As you see SHIELD was all over the series which is why Fury is dismissive in that picture Goktimus showed: He's had enough of dealing with giant licensed properties from Japan ;)
oooh nice link Paulbot, thanks! ...reads happily of the destruction Godzilla is wreaking.....
They'd have to work something about his wallet in there too... :D
Do the Diaclone toys have names? More specifically does the red Sunstreaker have a name?
Har! :D

Thanks gok, I was hoping there was a good name for a Red Sunstreaker since if I do a head swap to make Universe Tigertrack I'll have a red Sunnie leftover.
ohh nice idea Paulbot!
Just noticed this discussion.
No. There was never a "second production of the kit".
Thanks 1orion2many.
I would take what "people on the major TF boards reported" with a grain of salt. Many of them still cannot tell the difference between FansProject and TFClub.
To set the record straight:
FansProject = kit designer/maker (Cliffjumper, City Commander, AT/BT Gas Tank)
TFClub = fan club in mainland China
TFC Toys = TFClub's own toy brand (Movie Optimus Prime sword, Allspark Cube, Starscream Coronation kit, Battle Rollar)
FansProject created the 300 Cliffjumper kits, but they weren't the one doing the selling. The 300 kits went to HK-TF, me, a Canadian friend, and TFClub.
Three of the four: HK-TF, me, and the Canadian friend sure as hell did not "jack up the price every time somebody enquired about it", unless you considered my price here on the board USD $24.10 (airmail registered included) to be ridiculous.
If I was to artificially create the ridiculous prices, I would have sold all mine on eBay, not here on the board for USD $24.10 for the fans. I am upset that FansProject's reputation has been dragged down.
Venksta from TFW2005 already summed it up very well.

Actually, you are wrong about them raising the price. FansProject always intended the CJ kits to be sold at $30. But they themselves did not sell the kits. They gave them all to the different clubs in china and hong kong to sell. They had suggested to the clubs to sell the kits at $30 each. However, they didn't have control over some people being charged $90 or more. Since some sellers noticed the demand, they decided to make money off of it, then do fans a favor.

I don't think so. :(

Thanks for that Kyle :). I'm sure someone will confuse it with the real one some day...
Has Revelation 4 (Sideswipe) been released yet?
I went to my local comic store on Monday and picked up the latest ish of All Hail Megatron - no sign of Spotlight: Sideswipe. :/
Thanks, Goktimus. I went to get that and Deadpool #2 as well this week. Thought I missed it.
That's what standing orders are for dude. I've had mine since G1. :)
I should probably start doing that.
I was looking at some of the movie toys (Ironhide and Blackout) today and thought they looked ok.
Does the automorph gimmick get in the way of fun with these guys?
I don't have any movie toys so I don't really know what it's like.
Very early releases of Blackout had problems with the Automorphing. The gears slipped so you could quite easily end up with one that couldn't transform back into vehicle mode properly.
yo, i have a few questions about
Optimus Prime Voice Changer Helmet
1. how much?
2. Versions that appeared at Australian retails
3. Were there any faults in the helmet realized after purchasing?
