I just Googled "chrome paint" and from what I'm reading chrome paint appears to be paints that are highly reflective and thus
mimic chrome. They are of course, not true chrome. And yeah... they do look expensive. I saw one site selling 946mL of chrome paint for
AU$643.50 (
excluding GST)! Furthermore, from what I can see here chrome paints are only available in spray form which would require buying an air-brush and/or spray gun. Not worth it considering that you can get a
Japanese reissue on e-Bay for US$95 (even with the crummy state of the AUD). A shiny silver paint would be a cheaper and easier option IMO.
