For those wanting the direct link to Series 2 - here it is.
(the link at the bottom of every FunPub page, goes to the long-expired series 1 pre-order page )

Seems even more exceedingly unreasonable than before.
Last year had the following figures...

Set of figures - $282 (this year is $3 cheaper, but we have no Voyager figure this time... 2 Scouts only equals a Deluxe, so is effectively a price rise)

    Shipping last time...
Priority Mail International - $234.60 ($39.10 per figure)
    First-Class Mail International Parcel - $113.28 (18.88 per figure)

    Shipping this time...
Priority Mail International - $245.70 ($40.95 per figure)
    First-Class Package International - $106.50 ($17.75 per figure)
(no express mail option this time, which was even more expensive - I guess no one used it as it was just doubling the cost, for a saving of just 2 or 3 days)

So the Priority rate is slightly higher than last year, but the First Class rate is slightly cheaper.
In the end, at least the total cost is less than last year. Not by much, but at least with a smaller "mass" of toys this year, it didn't end up costing more than last year (which would have been price-gouging).

Wow - I was debating whether to get the figures or not when I logged in, but that price description just cinched me passing. Half these figures are not worth a hell of a lot more to me than the postage price itself, let alone having their actual price on top of it . Especially since we are getting some scout class in there and no Voyagers. I think like last time, I will have had my club membership for a total of a year and then will let it lapse

P.S: Anyone getting security warnings on the TCC FSS link on their site at the moment? I have nearly every time!

Just a reminder that the deadline for subscribing is near the end of the wee. Even if you only want 2 or 3 figures (and keep in mind that you get the 'free' exclusive figure that - if its good - will jackpot on TFSource and BBTS) its probably cheaper to subscribe now.

Also the shipping price is outrageous, as usual, but you can save money by using the cheaper shipping option. If you do so, be sure to check insurance because you won't receive a refund if it goes astray.

Oh and if anyone wants a good deal on the toy only a mother could love, Thurstinator, send me a PM
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!
