Kind of disappointing. G2 Superion and Motormaster are call, but I probably won't get to buy them, already tight on buying the regular stuff.

Scattershot's actually decent in alt mode and robot mode (mainly the head), but the combined mode is just disappointing. Unless this is some early stage thing, it seems like they just gave up on Computron. Hopefully Takara will satisfy everyone (which they seem to be doing).

Victorion's alright, nothing grand, but there for those that like it.

I was expecting more from SDCC, but at least we got an over compensation at Botcon, with Bruticus, Buzzsaw, Shockwave, Sky Lynx, G1 cars etc, which should keep us (me at least) going for a while.

Somewhat disappointed about no plans for beasties. Hopefully it happens some time.

Victorion's colours look better in the promo shots than the samples at the fair, but then there's the mix of photoshop vs painted up samples at play too.

The more faded green seen in the comic would be nice, but the main catch is the lack of another colour in the mix. Only a few of the G1 scramble city combiners really had a consistent colour scheme and when they did it was three four or five colours in the mix.

I think if they'd been more liberal with the silver/white paint it might work better. For instance paint all the thighs silver or something. Or really reverse out the combinations on the two cars and helicopters - the helicopters look identical in combined mode.

Looks like the new Hasbro Pulse website is just for American fans (again)... as I had a look at it when I heard that registering gets you (American fans) a welcome package in the mail.... and the registrations screen only allows for American addresses.

The site can still be used for browsing news that are more collector-focused, but if they send out emails or exclusive offers and information, non-Americans can't get access to it.

I seriously doubt that we will see similar set-ups in other countries, like ours.

I have to say Victorion looks quiet terrible. Yeah the colors are gaudy, but that dosen't bother me as much as the lazy use of previous molds. Its a shame they couldn't make at least one new mold. Just to quote something similar to what someone else said, Hasbro should rename Combiner wars, to something like Retool Wars. Lol.
The G2 boxsets for Stunticons, and Aerialbots are exactly as I was hoping for. Maybe they are not must buys, but since I have a shelf with more than a few G2 figures, Im likely to get them.

it almost feels like the rumblings of a funpub replacement.

All they have to do is start doing some fan-voted toys (like the JP Generations book toy last year for Go-Shooter) through that site, and the Collector Club loses its only real monopoly that it has left.

Yeah, I can easily bypass the G2 Aerielbots, but I must admit the G2 Stunticons look damn good! Considering I already have the G1 versions and am getting the UW Menasor I don't think my budget will allow for a 3rd.

In complete agreeance on Scattorshot. WOuld have preferred something a bit more like his G1 Spacecruiser form as I thought that was an awesome toy - especially with the cannon emplacement 3rd mode. This is good, but nowhere near as good. And combined mode looks WAY too much like Superion!

It could be worse - the first female combiner could have looked like this http://gideonhoss.deviantart.com/art...iner-274926397

I was planning on getting the Takara Arielbots and Stuntacons, now with the G2 sets coming out I think that I will give it a miss...
