Still giddy with excitement over todays haul! While Universe Inferno didn't do a lot for me, I reeeally dig United Grapple. The head sculpt is so much nicer, the shade of orange used is spot on (glad they didn't go brighter/darker) and that crane is a monster!! Very cool toy, highly recommended.



Universe Cosmos was next to be de-carded and once again I'm really impressed. Like the Classics seeker mold, the execution of updating a G1 toy was nailed 100%. He's up there with Legends Wheelie (both versions) & the recent Megatron for me. A must have!



The last two purchases were made on my lunch break today (yesterday for you east-siders), those being RTS Cyclonus & Hot Rod and Legends Goldbug. Rather than post a pic of Cyclonus himself, here's all three Cycloni right before they combine to form...Triclonus! If you get just one Cyclonus, get this one I reckon!

I know it's (sometimes) more cartoon accurate, but a Grapple toy with an orange head doesn't look right to me.

Agreed. I think it makes him look plain.
The black head stands out a bit more

I agree, I saw (in Deceptic Optics collection) the black head version and it looks so much better, the Black tends to end the monotonous orange color of the figure and makes it more interesting, the UNited all orange version kinda looks dull. Though I wish somebody put some chroming effort to the hook , ah well looks like Ill be painting this figure when I get one.

Right, finally sorted out 3 big (really big!) parcels from Big Bad Toy Store. Inside all the stuff to cover pre orders, were some things I had purchased for the collection
