    Default LordCyrusOmega's Collection

After exploring the board for 2 years I thought it was high time i grabbed a camera and posted some photos of my collection. Due to a current lack of space at the moment I thought I'd post what i have out at the moment and update as I find time to set up the rest.
    Enjoy

First up we have Animated. I brought the 2 pack with Optimus and Megatron and watched the DVD. Loved the series but was unimpressed with the toys. Then I got Starscream and was even less impressed. Steered clear of them until Safeguard came out. After that as I watched more of the series decided to start getting more of the toys. Now it's one of my favourite series.

Very nice, thanks for sharing. Though Animated is not my favourite line, still cool to see them all lined up like that.

Wasn't my favourite line either, in fact I down right hated them. Then I thought 'well I have Starscream so I should get another Voyager to even it out' so I got Grimlock. Then I thought 'Can't have just 1 Dinobot' So I got the other 2. Then I needed 2 more deluxes to even it out. Then I decided to buy all the Decepticons. 1 thing led to another, and with watching more of the series and here we are.

I just think that the way they rewrote Transformer history making Ultra Magnus Head of the Autobots, Prime as a rank and divided the Autobots into factions depending on their specialty was pulled of nicely.
It really was a well thought out storyline.

Like 1AZRAEL1, I'm not that big on the show either, narratively I liked it but hated seeing that ugly art style.
An awesome collection none the less and I've got to say that that Soundblaster is tempting me awfully to pick one up!
(I have Animated Soundwave so why not eh? )

When all the figures are displayed as a group like that they look just as good as any other era, so I look forward to seeing the pics of the rest of your collection dude once you're able to display them.

Thanks Hursty. I only got Soundblaster for Ratbat but he is totally worth it in his own right. I got the Takara one which is done in a deep black with red markings. Pure Badass.

Here is my Classics collection for your viewing pleasure

Hehe, that was the exact reason why I was considering getting him but I agree that the Black and Red colour scheme makes him look Hella Badass!

That is a sweet Classicsverse collection there man!
I like how you've displayed G2 Prime with the (Deluxe) Classics Megatron which may as well be a Deluxe sized G2 Megatron.
I wouldn't mind trying to get my hands on one of those Classics Ratbats either but I really don't want the 'Springer' that it is coupled with.

Do you also find it annoying that the Classicsverse Decepticons are at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to sheer numbers?, That's how I've felt for ages with my own collection.
(I'm so over all these Classicsverse Autobot releases! )

I know, they are vastly outnumbered which is odd considering how many choices are out there for classicsverse toys.

I got the Springer and Ratbat 2 pack when I was going through a draught (what am I saying? I'm always in a draught!) and it was on special in Miranda. Didn't want to come home empty handed. I figure if I get a Classicsverse type Springer I'll just move Springer to the Cybertron section

Now for my PCC combiners. As a toy I feel they have the most play value then other lines, I can fiddle for hours trying out all the different combinations. Don't like the blue connectors though

Very nice collection display LCO. I for one though love animated. The figures I love more because it takes a lot of imaginative engineering to come up with a toy to match the Cartoon aesthetic (powerpuff) and still transform into vehicles is just awesome. I hated the look of em at first ( the toon, not the toy) but watching the first few episodes I've warmed up to them quicker than TF Prime - which Im still on a 50/50 like dislike factor atm. My only regret right now is that I couldnt find more activator Soundwaves (only have 1) so I can display en masse ( about 5-6) to match that episode where he got control of a lot of his toy versions...

erm you have a RTS Cyclonus displayed in your Animated - intentional?

You can easily fix the issue of Decepticons< Autobots with the upcoming (hopefully it gets mass release here) Scourge as sweeps- if your into a bit of army building.

PCCs although I hate em , I keep buying them, now with more upcoming better alt modes ( I didnt go for the repaints) I actually want to buy the tank and Hydrofoil - I consider PCCs ( in liegeverse at least) to belong into Classicverse Gen 2. I have rearranged them displayed with my Classics Im actually into them only for the minicons hehehehehe... gotta catch em all!!
Wanted AM partner Vanguard, Myclones Dirge, G1 Victory Leo, e-hobby Dark scream ( the black version), e-hobby Magnificus
Parts- AM partner Basher-side guns, G1 Actionmaster Elite Windmill's blades[I][B]

Despite my general dislike of the Animated toys I really like your setup!
Good to see PCC's getting the display space they deserve
