Future Generations figures

Thought I'd share some information from a good source about Generations/Classics/United news.

Re-Release of New figures
Takara Tomy
United will re-release UN11-22 in September.
United is considering continuing this line to 30
United figures suggested are as follows:
Warpath
Cliffjumper
Ultra Magnus
2 set Windcharger/Tailgate
plus 2-3 new figures


Hasbro
I also understand that in Sept there is another shipment of toys. Expect an announcement around botcon on some new figures. Rumors are Trailbreaker, Hoist, Skids to be created as new toys. Skywarp, Cliffjumper, Mirage and a number of figures already released to be re-released under Generations lines. As a result there will be multiple cases with Warpath.

From my discussions with a person who is very much in the know, it seems that Hasbro/Takara listen to fans and will respond. Announcements around Botcon.

Concerns they have:
#Issue with 3rd parties is primarily focused on a breach of IP from Igear. Investigators are involved trying to resolve how the toy manufacturer breached their contractual requirements (its pretty serious stuff and may cost alot of jobs)
#They are surprised in the sudden surge in popularity in the past 6 months of generations/classics and will be releasing more figures as well as continued manufacturing post TF movie.
# New line in Japan will incorporate DOTM and G1 figures double pack including Op Prime/Megatron (as well as starscream, ironhide. ratchet etc)

It was a great chat for about 30 mins. I think my source is now figuring I actually collect transformers... I was giving him the impression I was extremely knowledgable in everything...

Well that's certainly great news for people that missed out on alot of those figures in the first release. And if Cliffjumper has a retooled head, I will def buy it. And Skywarp if it is a better paint app

Interested in seeing Trailbreaker, Hoist and Skids.

This is intriguing news!
I too look forward to seeing what happens with:

• Tailgate
• Trailbreaker
• Hoist
• Skids

I'm also curious as to whether we'll see the retooled figures shown in the instructions of Scourge & Thunderwing, the supposed Retool of Perceptor as Reflector and whether or not we'll see a Hasbro release of Scrapheap?

Glad to see that the line is going to continue and plus the reissues such as Mirage and Cliffjumper. Seen these when they first came out and never bothered with them but now I wish I did.

But anyway glad to hear and no doubt the guys who go to Botcon can and will inform us on what may happen with whats going to happen.

Now in a bit of a dilemma on what do regarding the Gen Warpath I shall shortly have in my hand that I was going to open.

Any news regarding the Generations line is glorious news in my books - don't really care which characters they release, as long as they keep churning them out.

well if all this comes to pass, AWESOOOME!!!! We should see then a decline in the prices of those Classics on Ebay Good chance for all those that missed some figures too like mirage et al....Tailgate ei? well it's a logical repaint just wish they didn't 2 pack him I already got Windcharger but good for those who don't have it. .... Still no proper Arcee figure then, yup, Hasbro keeping in with tradition. I am still hoping for better versions of the cassetrons for both factions.
