It would be awesome if it was soundwave and his cassettes but as much as I want that I dont think it is or that we will be getting it any time soon.

With dotm coming out it would be a good time to do shockwave but again I don't think it'll be him either.

Theres a fair few rumours going around that it'll be another optimus prime and if its true and I think it is I'm gonna be pretty disappointed.

Another Optimus would be pretty anti climactic, Powermaster or not. Going alone the lines of Mr Tober, "..long awaited" would definitely be implying a much more well known/iconic character.

My guess is either MP Soundwave (with cassettes) or Galvatron. I reckon it's gona be a Decepticon character. The high price tag hints something big though. Maybe Devastator ? *wishful thinking*

I am guessing Galvatron to go along with Rodimus. It's a very close together release so maybe it is a delayed 2010 celebration figure.

The smart ass in me wants to suggest that it'll be Time Warrior, but I'm more hoping it's a gestalt team (probably Devastator), Galvatron or Blitzwing.

Anonymous sources (and a little bit of reasoned guess work) reveal this upcoming MP figure to be none other than Optimus Prime with an improved trailer (ala MP-04). Details as we know to be rumored:

All new mold
Robot-mode size close to the i-Gear Faith Leader KO
Improved overall robot-mode and design
Better looking, more cartoon accurate head
Die-cast parts
Trailer
Truck-mode more convincing and realistic than MP 01
Truck-mode windscreen and grill better aligned than on previous G1 Optimus Prime toys
Accessories have not been decided upon yet


This is of course as of yet not 100% confirmed, our source may be mistaken as to some of the key details, but then again the same source has delivered reliable information about DOTM Leader Class Ironhide, Sentinel Prime, etc...

So yea, we're pretty sure this is true, but take it with a grain of salt - and watch that blood pressure...

If it is a MP PM Prime, that might make it a little better but I would've preferred anyone over another friggin' Prime!
