    Default Custom: classic predator Skydive

I've had this sitting in my 'to do' box for aaaages... even before Botcon went all G2.
It's made from a Universe Cyclonus I bought from a member here and a Universe Blaster head.
The head was ground down so the jet nose could go down. It's not as perfect a fit as the original Cyclonus head and the side of it can be seen in jet mode, but if Hasbro can get away with it with the Seekers then I think I can too.
The jet is slightly mistransformed to differentiate it from Cyclonus. I also cut off the secondary fins that are usually on Cyclonus' forearms and stuck them on the legs/rear of the plane.

The original, the custom, the base model
The purple I used ('warlock purple' for those playing along at home) isn't a perfect match but it was the closest I could find. I think it, the black and metal green I used evoke G2 sufficiently without being a riot of colours.

Hmm, as a pretty big Euro G1 fan, seems a little off to me, yet at the same time it works and works well at that. Interesting job with thinking outside of the box and great execution there.

really great colour scheme imo. stands out with the sharp purple. and the adjust to vehicle mode is a good differentiation from Cyclonus. nice work!
