Those side-by-sides do make the TFC version look less impressive.
On the other hand, one impressive thing about the TFC version is that all the devy parts (fists, head, waistplate etc) are factored into the individual figures, rather than just parts-forming as I suspect the Maketoys version will do.
Anyway, I think I'll get TFC's Scavenger, check the quality and then decide whether I'll get the rest. Maketoys version is definitely bought.

I much prefer TFCs between the two - the lack of spare components just floating about and the size tip the scales.
Not that I'm getting either mind you.

Also bear in mind that pic of TFCs Devastator is doubling up on the limbs - only four (??) of the six bots are there.

Well, we have seen Maketoys Devy standing there but no action poses pic yet, so we dont know how poseable it is. I just hope it's stable enough as well to make poses and retain them and not just look pretty standing still like that. Having said that I like the scale and aesthetic of it, so I'm leaning more towards Maketoys Devy....Just cancelled mine with BBTS after seeing the Maketoy's version. It looks so much more detailed, has a G1 accurate head and most likely be less than the $600 TFC set. I just had to jump ship!

Does anyone have a pic of Bruticus with the add-ons next to a CHUG figure (eg optimus) for size reference as i dont have bruticus so im unsure of Devestators size
