Came as a bit of a shock to me. But he is an amazing voice actor, and you can notice his voice in whatever he does (including when I heard his voice in Bill & Ted)

Did he? He also did Station, you can tell from the combined voice he sounds like Soundwave without the digitisation

Fantastic reward and recognition for someone who has basically spent his life going from job to job, doing his work, and taking quiet comfort in that.
For over 30 years now Mr Welker has been going from show to show, doing what is necessary to bring to life the many many characters of our childhoods.
