AP's Movie 1 Custom Megatron

I thought I'd throw up some pics of my first ever custom Transformer. He's a Movie 1 Leader Class Megatron. I forgot how horrible the original one looked when I saw one up for sale at Nexus last month.

Not sure what to say he was my first ever custom. I did him back in 2007 when the movie came out and was/ is my proud leader of the Movie 1 Decepticons



Custom Red LED for head (Never got around to changing his chest ones)


A little bit of detail on his shoulders/ chest. Including some "battle damage" on the chest


His head, and it can move around slightly

I hope you enjoyed seeing him. He was a fun project. Even the trip to Jaycar to get his LED was fun. I remember at one point after the assistant showing me various red LEDs and saying they weren't bright enough I said to him.
"I want an LED that's so bright you look at it, close your eyes and it's still burnt in the back of your retina"

Fun times.

I bought him JUST to paint him as a custom, otherwise I wouldn't have touched him. I still can't stand the original deco.
