    I echo these sentiments. I wanted play-doh so bad when I was a kid. Only ever got one set though.

    We had home made play doh. If you didn't use it long enough it would go hard and mouldy.

    How did you make it? I saw someone make it on TV when I was a kid, one of those 'do it yourself' TV shows. I can't remember how they did it but I thought it was pretty neat.

    I've made it a few times - it's basically flour, salt, baking soda, and food dye. Can't remember the exact quanities though. You'd be able to find it online though. You can find anything on the interwebz.

    And I think the salt is only added to prevent kids eating it... even if it does look like multi-coloured cookie dough.
