    Only IF Something:

needs to be a good price, given I have 2 masterpiece primes already, and masterpiece hot rod is $60 at the moment, 250 +postage is out of the question. maybe for $100 plus postage, but no more than that. I really hope the next masterpiece is a new figure.

I do think it's very nice, well detailed and articulated but it's still 3 times too much money.

I'd like this but the price really kills it.

So it's a no to the Takara version for a lot of people, but what about when the inevitable Hasbro version (sans Trailer, but with a guy who looks like HiQ but isn't named HiQ) comes out? How many takers at the $80 - $100 price point?

I will get the Takara if I can come up with the $$$ But I would also get the Hasbro regardless.

After thinking about this, Mp-10 is something I'd like to get down the road, but the price is just too much for what it is. Id be much more inclined to get a Hasbro release without the trailer if the deco is reasonable...

Perhaps when MP-10 Last shot version comes out.. hopefully by then itd be prices more reasonably.

Hmmm smaller, none of the previous gimmicks (matrix, mouthpiece moving, communicator wrists), duck feet, almost no metal, articulation issues and a whopper of a price tag... no thanks... the masterpiece line seriously needs an injection of better perspective. So next I guess they'll be coming out with a nother cut-back version of Megs? G2 Tank would be preferable if that ever occurs, only to save us the torment of having to deal with Aus customs.

I really want this, but even I have my limits when it comes to price... This just isn't a $250+ toy.

The tone of this thread seems far more presumed negative than usual, given most people haven't actually had a chance to play with the toy yet. I can't help wonder if this is the legacy of MP09 jading people about TAktom's releases. Most of the first reviews seem to have painted a decent picture of the toy, far better than MP09 at least (not that that would be hard).

That said I share the concerns about price, I want to see this toy in real life before I make a call, TBH I prefer the size, and the gimmicks and diecast can be all thrown out the door IF they produce a better toy as far as I'm concerned.

So I guess we shall see.......

    Colour me undecided.
