The Smurfs is higher on the list than Terminator 2, which should tell you everything you need to know about how utterly meaningless and redundant these lists are.

Are you suggesting that Michael Bay didn't deserve this?

I think he does, despite not having a sound plot or real character development in his movie Bay does know how to make movies very appealing to audiences on the simplest levels (robots, explosions, girls, explosions, repeat). It's a cheap formula really but works so well financially.
