erm krylon fusion paint... does it stick more better as in it never rubs off? hope this project goes well, I know what you mean about clear plastic... sigh my iceman ML has a broken crotch though he is only translucent..

btw, what glue did you use to attach the pegs to those cut off half wings? coz I really need a good strong glue that would adhere to the plastic used in TFs
Clear plastics are a nightmare, i cant believe that they even allow stuff made with it to even be sold.. The glue i used was normal Crazy Glue but i heard Gorilla Glue was pretty strong stuff too, stronger then crazy glue. If its a joint that gets alot of stress you may want to look into a super strong clear apoxy. A friend of mine uses that .

I had a quick look and the only one I could find priced at $5 was the black one

I shall continue looking. PrimulArchangel, do you mind if you could take some more pictures of the seeker being held by the stand in jet and robot mode.

    Thanks
Yeah sure i can take a few pics when i get a chance. The stands are great. I use one for taking pictures of toys that i will use on boxes. Having the toy suspended in the air gets rid of shadows and that works out great in photoshop.. The other stands i have i use on my WST Seekers. each stand comes with 2 claws and it lets me put 2 seekers per stand. They also come in different sizes. I have one thats also holding up a T-rex skull lol
And here ya go, this is the site my buddy ordered ours from http://www.toymalaysia.com/webshaper...roductItem=178
They are only 4.67 but out of stock right now. Try emailing the site and asking if they will get more in

Thanks PrimulArchangel, I really appreciate your help. I recently purchased a display for my Transformers and now I am trying to think of different ways I can display them and I really liked the look of the Obitsu Multi Stand to display my Seekers

Here are a few pics i had in my photobucket of the stands in use. I didnt have time to take any new ones but this should give you a pretty good idea on how they work out

One thing to keep in mind though is these stands are wobbly with the larger figures and if the figure is too heavy you could snap the plastic rod. So if you are going to display them in a location with alot of foot traffic that can shake the case they may tip over.. Ones thing i did to make them a little more safe is put Blu Tack sticky putty under the base and it sticks it to the shelf without doing damage to anything and the stuff can be reused .. 3M makes a white version of it , its mainly use to half pictures on wall without nails.

Thanks alot guys, I really appreciate the help. I am in the process of setting up my Transformers in the Ikea Detolf I purchased and want to be creative

Once I get things organized I will post my evergrowing collection

I might stop by Hobbyco seeing as I work in the city to pick up the stands. The site liegeprime charges a fair bit for shipping so it may be better just to get the stands locally

    Thanks
I did a little bit of digibashing to see what some other paint apps will look like . Im thinking of adding the pearlized yellow gold to his tail fins, pearlised blue to his wing tips and eyes , pearlized silver to his waist and the autobot symbol to his chest.. Here is a before and after of how he may look.

Primul, go for it mate! - Those planned additional paint apps are the fine touches this figure needs to really make it work but also aiding in a break-up of the colour.
Excellent work dude, looking forward to seeing the end results of this custom alot.

Nice paint job, though I'm not sure about the yellow on the tailfins.

BTW any plans to get a Pretender shell happening?

    Eagerly waiting for Masterpiece Meister
