Meh, I got MP10 but I didn't have MP 1 or 4. This one's a pass for me, Animated Starscream still works fine.

This looks pretty good, considering now I no longer have any MP seeker. Will purchase later down the track

looks like they may have borrowed technology (hip kibble transformation) from the customisers....

also, why oh why did they not paint the 2 black tabs in jet mode to white? or is it meant to be black on the real jet?

apart from that...the photos makes me really want to buy it for some reason even though i have like a whole bunch of this mould already... grrr....

The is probably the biggest downside to the toy. I hate how they don't have full finger articulation like they do for unicron and i think primus. Starscream needs to be able to flip the bird!

lol... they probably spent the entire year's R&D budget just on copying changing the hip kibble region. so making all fingers articulated would have broken the bank.

Those do look a bit funny but they're just trying to mimic the G1 toy

It follows that this could be part of such a response.
That doesn't make sense to me. If they wanted to have a response to the IGear knock offs then they should have at least released Sunstorm and the conehead characters at a matching price (even if a bit higher). Fans would go for the official 'improved' mold instead of the knock off one specially since the IGear KO seekers are pretty expensive as they are.

I can understand that they 'need' to debut the new retooled mold with an A list character like Starscream but the least they could have done is tell us if the next MP seeker releases will be characters not officially seen before. So far it looks like they are 'rebooting' the line with a big 'F U' to all the people who have already spend hundreds if not thousands on the MP line so far. I can somewhat understand another Prime and even perhaps a new Megatron but a whole set of seekers with the associated repaints again?

The least they could do is throw us a bone as the assumption would naturally be that the next MP releases will be none other than Skywarp and Thundercracker - Again. What would be after that? Perhaps the same 3 seekers again but at a smaller scale and triple the price?

My chief gripes are that it isn't much different to the original seeker mold and that Takara's plastic colours are kind of vanilla. Also they ditched starscreamsmirk for whysoserious!?! I'm holding out for a Hasbro version

He does look a tad bit more forgiving on poseability but given that he's pretty much the same design as the original I don't think you're going to get many truly dynamic action poses out of this guy.

Love the cape assembly! Beats that poorly sewn dustcloth that TFC spruiked for more than it was worth.

What are the bets that the coneheads and Magnus with armor will be announced by the end of 2012? I say petty good. Decent chance of seeing Soundwave too I reckon.

E-Hobby Sunstorm? Yes please. The reboot of the MP line means they can fix everything they fubared the first time.
Which brings us to where we are today...
