    Couple of suggestions:

Paranormal Activity: 1 is done well, 2 not so well. Creates a spooky atmosphere using sound (or lack of)

Don't watch The Mist: epic fail.

Trick R Treat is great for Halloween though not scary.

Texas Chainswaw Massacre, Last House on the Left, I spit on your Grave, Night of the Living Dead. All good movies but only watch the originals. Remakes are shit.

I forgot to add The Descent 1 and 2. Really gives that claustrophobic feel.

The ending to the 1st movie frustrated me to no end.

Quite an extensive array of films being listed in this thread, quite a number of films I'll have to give a perusal.

Don't listen to LCO, The Mist (2007) is an incredible Stephen King adaptation you should all watch.

Oh and Hursti, I know you're not the biggest fan of dubstep but thought you might like to check this out as it's a tribute to Leather Face/TCM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogdRXnjHzR8

I thought it was a great film too, I've no idea if it is at all close to the novel however , I can tell you what though; if I was stuck in a Mall with those types of people there would be no hesitation from me.

While I wouldn't necessarily call Identity 'creepy', it is an exceptional movie. The only downside is that it has an ending very similar to the 6th Sense - once you know what happens, watching it again just isn't the same.

The ending in 6th Sense is a classic twist ending.
Watching it a second time is a whole new experience.
Another great film for halloween is Donnie Darko. Not really a horror film, but halloween is quite pivotal to the plot.
